The Commercial Bank's B2B Payments Solutions team is transforming how businesses operate, building top-tier customer and associate experiences using best in class technology. The team is responsible for all of the payables, receivables, and liquidity products used by clients as well as associate-facing tools for operations and sales support.

The Product Excellence team within the Commercial Bank's B2B Solutions team is the backbone of how our product team operates. The Director of Product Excellence is responsible for leading a team of associates dedicated to multiple aspects of the product management discipline. Including but not limited to defining and implementing a portfolio management infrastructure, measuring product performance, and optimizing product development processes and tools for the B2B Solutions team.

The ideal candidate will be able to leverage their experience as a product owner to drive innovation in the way that we work to design, build and release products our customers love.

As the director of product excellence, you will be responsible for leading a team of associates to:

  • Define a clear portfolio strategy that enables product owners to connect to their individual roadmaps
  • Establish and manage a process for portfolio management across B2B Solutions (including strategic frameworks)
  • Create visibility across product roadmaps to uncover interdependencies and develop a corresponding governance process
  • Develop a set of measures of success for each portfolio in B2B Solutions and guide teams on how to create KPIs at every level
  • Ensure consistent and standardized product release and delivery within a cohesive portfolio of B2B payments products aligned to an overarching strategy
  • Lead process optimization for product development routines and support of product operations

  • Team Player. You enjoy working with diverse people and driving the team toward a common goal. You are also able to coach others and be a mentor in product development.


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience
  • At least 7 years of experience in digital product management


Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA or Master's degree
  • 5+ years of experience in Agile product management
  • 5+ years of experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products
  • Incredible interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence other functions
