Adventist HealthCare Rehabilitation seeks to hire a Lead Athletic Trainer for our Rehabilitation Department who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Lead Athletic Trainer you will:
• Provides Athletic Training services at one or more assigned locations
• Acts as a clinical resource for other athletic trainers, advancing best practices and supporting program development
• Participates in tracking and documenting quality indicators
• Participates in business development activities
• Coordinates and provides professional development and continuing education events (including CPR)
• Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications include:
• Current Maryland athletic training license required
• Current NATABOC certification required
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Demonstrates clear, concise, and effective communication with peers, staff, and leaders
• Demonstrates professionalism in interactions with students, parents, coaches, school leadership and other stakeholders
• Serves as a role-model for and influences others toward successful demonstration of AHC values
• Contributes to a climate that attracts, retains, and motivates staff
• Demonstrates a depth and breadth of Athletic Training techniques and skills
• Remains current on Athletic Training trends including regulation changes and clinical best-practices
• Effectively teaches peers, community members, students, other professionals and persons served one on one or in a group setting
