Marketing Communications Specialist
C-SPAN is seeking a Marketing Communications Specialist to create corporate and promotional content that increases the awareness and perceived value of C-SPAN. The specialist would write, edit and proof digital, social, print and corporate promotions, advertising, and collateral for a variety of audiences including consumers, cable industry and educators. The Specialist would write social media dark posts and search engine marketing posts and develop key words for increase reach as well as act as back up for social media ad placement and analysis. The Specialist would coordinate internal information, write and distribute targeted email newsletters to C-SPAN’s key audiences and gather metrics. Additionally this position would coordinate proposals and oversee C-SPAN’s Market Research efforts.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English or Journalism, at least three years' experience in Marketing, Advertising or Communications with a demonstrated ability to coordinate the work of others, including staff and outside vendors. Excellent writing, editing, organizational, prioritization and negotiation skills, and Constant Contact or similar experience preferred.
