Integrated Communications and Marketing is a multimedia, service-focused operation that leads in shaping the impression of AARP by providing communications planning, marketing, support and execution for AARP's strategic business units.
Summary

This position reports to the Manager, Business Technology and is responsible for optimizing content submitted by content owners in CVENT CMS and posting content to the AARP Virtual Community Center. Works on tasks, processes, and schedules for getting approved content published. Ensures that the final product accurately conveys the desired message and adheres to style guide and quality standards.
Responsibilities
  • Works with Virtual Community Center content stakeholders to optimize message and style.
  • Utilizes CVENT to optimize and publish approved Virtual Community Center submissions.
  • Ensures content appearing on the Virtual Community Center platform hosted by American Towns adhere to established quality and consumer experience standards.
  • Analyzes Virtual Community Center data related to content and operations and produces reports.
  • Contributes to the optimization of Virtual Community Center workflow and other business operations with a focus on efficiency, quality, and consumer experience.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in web production and project management.
  • Experience working with CVENT is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written. Ability to produce high-quality reports and presentations and clearly communicate program strategies and solutions.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to meet goals and objectives while working in a collaborative, matrixed environment.
