Dewberry is currently seeking a responsible, highly motivated, and detail oriented individual to join our transportation design department in the Fairfax, Virginia office as a CADD Technician. This individual will work in a team environment with other drafters, designers, and professional engineers to prepare a variety of roadway, transportation and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

This position requires the candidate to have a certificate in Engineering Drafting or Computer Aided Drafting (or equivalent) and experience in preparing exhibits and drawings using MicroStation and Geopak. The candidate will be expected to develop CAD drawings with minimal supervision. Experience with GIS, Civil3D, AutoCAD, Inroads, 3D modeling, and Excel are also preferred.

Required Skills & Required Experience

• Degree or certificate in Engineering Drafting, Computer Aided Drafting, or equivalent
• At least one (1) year of engineering drafting experience
• MicroStation experience

Must have a valid driver's license, good driving record and ability to pass a driving record background check.
