Reporting to the Vice President of Revenue Cycle, the Manager of Imaging Revenue Cycle is responsible for managing the day to day performance of the Imaging Revenue Cycle for Adventist Healthcare's free-standing Imaging Centers and radiologists. The Manager is responsible for maintaining internal revenue cycle processes such as pre-certification and authorization, billing, follow-up, collections, denial management and payment posting as well as work queue management and follow-up, process optimization, and revenue integrity oversight. The manager will also be responsible for analyzing revenue cycle performance data in order to make recommendations on prioritization and process improvements. The manager will serve as the revenue cycle subject matter expert and work closely with IT to ensure that the billing system is configured in an optimal and compliant matter to support efficient workflow.

As an Manager of Imaging Revenue Cycle, you will:

•Identify and eliminate barriers to a successful and timely recording/ and
conversion of patient charges to cash.
•Develops updates and monitors hospital scorecards and reports on the prime
activities and components of the entire continuum of the Hospital revenue
cycle.
•Monitor revenue cycle processes and work in conjunction with the hospital
CFOs, individual directors of Rev Cycle related functions, and IT to implement
their recommendations for improvements.
•Ensures compliance with all state and federal billing and collection practices.
•Monitor the posting of payments and charge slips to patient accounts.
•Performs periodic evaluation of collections policies and procedures and
modifies as needed.
• Manage workflow of billing department and provide back-up support as
needed.
• Respond to questions relating to billing, accounts receivable, and work-in-
progress and produce reports as needed.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting or at least 10 years of
relevant experience.
• Experience in Maryland Hospitals
• Minimum of 5 years extensive, progressive experience in Hospital revenue
cycle management
• Cerner experience preferred
• 5 or more years leading a billing team
