job summary:Financial Analyst The Analyst for this Wash DC company will be responsible for assisting with budget preparation and monitoring, matter pricing, and assistance in implementing and administering financial systems. The Analyst will also be responsible for routine and ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis,including report development, analysis projects, completion of external financial surveys, and marketing requests. location: Washington, District Of Columbiajob type: Permanentsalary: $75,000 - 85,000 per yearwork hours: 9 to 5education: Bachelor's degreeexperience: 3 Years responsibilities:Assist in preparation and monitoring of matter budgets.Assist with analysis of and working with marketing staff on, new client/matter billing arrangements and alternative fee arrangement pricing.Assist with Firm annual billing rate proposal and implementation.Assist in preparation of the annual revenue and expense budgets, along with monthly reporting and analysis.Assist with preparation of benchmarking, client surveys, client information requests, and pro bono surveys.Prepare financial management and marketing reports.Analyze key performance measures; communicate findings.Lead the development and implementation of new budgeting and profitability system/software.Lead the development and implementation of financial dashboards.Assist with implementation of accounting systems and software.Interface with the Chief Information Officer and IT staff on many of the job responsibilities noted above. qualifications:College (bachelor's) degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.At least three years' prior experience in accounting or finance.Proficiency with advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.Experience working with MS Access or similar database reporting software.This position is currently not based in the office but will be expected to return on a hybrid basis in 2022.
