About the Business Foundations Area: Faculty with multidisciplinary backgrounds within the Business Foundations area teach undergraduate courses that engage students with a range of contemporary business contexts, using a liberal education approach, and provide a foundation for success in the major courses and in the professional work environment. This is an area focused on teaching excellence and collaboration.

Foundations courses provide context and skills in the following areas: ** How to succeed in college ** The role of business and its impact on society ** Career development skills ** Professionalism and preparation for the workplace ** The global environment of business ** The legal environment of business

About the Position: We are accepting applications for teaching assignments for BULE 303 - Legal Environment of Business courses within Business Foundations. Syllabi from recent course offerings are available at http://business.gmu.edu/undergraduate/courses/.

Responsibilities: In addition to teaching, responsibilities include preparing course materials, engaging with students, holding regularly scheduled office hours, and working closely with the adjunct coordinator for the course.

Required Qualifications: * Ideal applicants for law classes will have a JD and/or LLM and relevant work experience; * Good citizenship and the ability to work well with colleagues are essential.

Preferred Qualifications: * Ph.D. or Doctorate of Business; * M.S. of Business or a related discipline (e.g., International Studies) or MBA with relevant work experience; * Prior teaching experience.
