Cloud System Administrator The Cloud System Administrator has the job responsibility of managing and monitoring the performance of the Cloud environment - inclusive of servers, databases, services, and networking components. The Cloud System Administrator ensures the availability, security, configuration, and growth of the IT infrastructure is aligned with Coronis Health needs and requirements. The Cloud System Administrator reports to the Director of IT and is responsible for a number of specific tasks as outlined under responsibilities. FLSA Status: Exempt Classification: Full-Time Responsibilities and Duties: * Deploying, managing, and operating scalable, highly available, and fault tolerant systems on AWS and Azure * Configuring servers, applying patches, provisioning and installing software * Creating, reviewing or modifying backup and recovery policies and procedures * Implementing the policies for the use of the computer systems and networks * Conducting research on and implementing effective approaches to data storage in AWS and Azure * Implementing and maintaining databases using SQL, NoSQL or other database programming languages * Indexing, replicating and performing disaster recovery services across multiple AWS and Azure regions * Conducting network performance analysis and troubleshooting when required * Maintaining server and security configurations in compliance with established best practices and configurations * Automating common administrative tasks * Developing, promoting, and offering improvements to operating procedures * Reviewing and maintaining logs * Internal documentation * Password and identity management * Participating in team meetings, sharing updates and coordinating with other teams * Performing other related duties as assigned Skills and Competencies: * The ability to quickly diagnose and repair issues within systems * Dedicated, hardworking employee who achieves maximum efficiency and productivity * Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey information * Must be proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace productivity tools * Ability to handle multiple, complex and competing priorities and projects Requirements/Qualifications: * At least 2 years demonstrated experience maintaining a Compute, storage, network, and database services in AWS to include EC2, EBS, S3, RDS, Route 53, NoSQL etc. * Experience writing scripts and scheduling jobs * Experience with troubleshooting database performance and network issues * Familiar with and have implemented best practices for security, data recovery, high availability, and auto-scaling * Ability to develop automation to standardize and secure cloud services such as server operating system builds-including, Windows Server, Red Hat Linux and Centos, etc.- to ensure compliance with enterprise standards and security policy * Administrator experience using the AWS cloud * Microsoft Azure experience a plus Education/Certification * Security+ (Mandatory) * Any technical AWS certification (Preferred) * Microsoft Azure experience a plus * Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)#06022021
