St. Agnes School, located in Catonsville, Maryland is seeking a part-time Technology teacher, serving grades 5-8. The teacher will be responsible for integrating the mission of St. Agnes School in all planning, teaching, grading, and in all school duties. This is a 3.5 hour per day position that follows the school calendar. Job Responsibilities: Develops lesson plans with clear objectives in line with the Archdiocesan Course of StudyProvides grade appropriate instructional program in Technology for students in grades 1-8. Instruction which includes but is not limited to basic computer concepts and operations, responsibility of digital citizenry, creative communication and innovation and designProvide grade appropriate extended or enrichment opportunitiesMaintains appropriate control through positive discipline techniques to enhance the learning environmentMaintains accurate and complete records of students' progress and development Qualifications:Bachelor degree in educational technology, education or other related fieldMust be comfortable with technology devices, tools, programs and systemsCurrent MSDE certification or willingness to achieveBasic understanding and acceptance of Catholic school philosophy, goals, & objectives
