St. Joan of Arc Catholic School, located in Aberdeen, Maryland seeks candidates for the position of Principal. The School serves over 206 students in Pre-School through Grade 8. St. Joan of Arc School creates a vibrant 21st Century learning environment that infuses Catholic identity into every aspect of a curriculum focused on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). Many of the school families have one or more parents stationed at nearby Aberdeen Proving Grounds. The Principal is ultimately responsible for overseeing an instructional plan that is consistent with the mission, philosophy, goals and objectives of the school. The Principal will implement the educational ministry of St. Joan of Arc Catholic School ensuring its Catholic identity. The Principal reports to the Pastor and the Superintendent of Catholic Schools. Qualifications:Practicing Catholic with a demonstrated commitment to the mission of Catholic educationMSDE Admin II certificationA minimum of five years certified teaching experience at the elementary levelThree years of certified elementary (K-8) teaching experience in a Catholic SchoolPrior experience as an Assistant Principal/Principal preferred
