Principal Associate, Enterprise Services Risk Learning and Development

As a Principal Associate in Capital One's Enterprise Services (ES) Risk Office, you will apply your agile, learning and development, and technical skills to our highest profile Risk Learning and Development initiatives. You will be responsible for supporting the flawless execution of the Learning and Development program and building strong relationships with our business partners and subject matter experts who contribute to the success of the program.

Enterprise Services professionals are experienced, well-trained, and progressive individuals that operate within a highly collaborative team environment to deliver value-added risk services to our business partners. The Principal Associate candidate will be a highly-motivated learning professional with excellent project and product management skills, learning and development experience, and a bias toward collaboration and action.

Additional responsibilities are noted below.

General responsibilities:
  • Facilitate and drive execution of the established ES Risk Learning and Development required learning process
  • Leverage agile methodologies/project management skills to implement process improvements in learning projects
  • Leverage learning and development skills to enable executive risk education
  • Discover opportunities to strengthen the ES Learning and Development Program to build a risk office of the future
  • Align business goals with user needs to audit/maintain existing L&D content
  • Execute and oversee the ES Risk L&D of communication strategy

Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
  • At least 2 years of agile experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in Risk or Compliance Management
  • At least 2 years of experience project or process management
  • At least 2 years of experience working with internal business clients


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3 years of Risk Management or Compliance experience
  • 3 years of experience as a Project Manager or Process Manager
  • 3 years of learning and development experience
  • 4 years operating in a cross functional capacity and working on complex initiatives
