RAPIDS Systems Engineer- Secret Clearance Position Description CGI Federal is seeking a RAPIDS Systems Engineer to join our rapidly growing team. The Senior Patient Identity SME will be onboarded to support a joint effort of the DHA and the VA. Qualified individuals would support DMDC Enterprise Program Management Support contract in Alexandria, VA and Monterey, CA.Your future duties and responsibilities The Systems Engineer will be responsible for assessing systems, determining problems, providing solutions to issues that arise, designing systems, upgrading systems, maintaining systems and brainstorming possible improvements that can be made to a system in the future.Required qualifications to be successful in this role* 5 years of experience researching industry technologies and engineering solutions for emerging COTS hardware and software; technically evaluating COTS hardware and software products for integration into complex desktop applications requiring biometric capture and credentialing solution integration; conducting and documenting analyses of alternatives.* 3 years of proficiency analyzing Federal and DoD technical and cyber security regulations and requirements for hardware and software and applying knowledge to product evaluation for integration into multiple worldwide DoD desktop and laptop products.* 3 years of experience in hardware/software lifecycle planning; managing enterprise-wide hardware test, selection and integration processes to ensure mandatory equipment is fielded without service interruption.* In-depth knowledge and experience of identity management COTS hardware, software, and technical requirements and regulations.
