Description ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN (DETO-21-0707-W) Bowhead is seeking an Electronics Technician who lays out, builds, tests, troubleshoots, repairs, and modifies electronic developmental and production equipment, parts, components, and systems according to engineering instructions. -- Experience with pulse power systems, solid-state switches, ferromagnetic switches, and/or COMSOL or LTspice modeling and simulation tools. -- Sets up and conducts laboratory and field tests; in the fabrication of Laser, RF, and pulsed power components and subsystems; and in the integration of referenced systems. -- Analyzes and interprets test data. -- Evaluates performance and reliability of prototype or production model. Recommends changes in circuitry or installation specifications to simplify assembly and maintenance. -- May provide work leadership for lower level employees. Requirements Five (5) years of experience in the operation, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic, optical, electromagnetic sensors and supporting instrumentation and electrical and electronic test equipment. Experience in setting up and conducting laboratory and field tests. Experience with pulse power systems, solid-state switches, ferromagnetic switches, and/or COMSOL or LTspice modeling and simulation tools High Voltage and Fiber optic cabling certifications. Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
