C2 Digital Solutions (C2DS) Mission Area Chief Engineer (MACE) The C2DS MACE will be responsible for driving growth within the C2 Digital Solutions (C2DS) business area, which provides software development and advanced data solutions tied to Command Control, Tactical ISR and Environmental Intelligence. This position reports into the Space & C2 Chief Engineer and is assigned to the C2DS Mission Area Vice President for day-to-day activities. The C2DS MACE is directly involved in Mission Area customer engagements, including working with customers to understand their needs, helping to shape future work, and developing strong relationships with the customer community. In addition, the C2DS MACE supports technology roadmap development and maintenance, drives product & technology development, and helps prioritize company investment, in alignment with the Mission Area strategy. The C2DS MACE provides technical leadership and ensures engineering/technical execution. The MACE is accountable for ensuring engineering work product performance and technical integrity; reviewing and approving program estimates at completion (EACs), process gates and engineering bid reviews; conducting engineering reviews appropriate to the scope and phase of the programs; driving the Mission Area Corrective Action Board (CAB); ensuring that approved processes & procedures are followed in the C2DS Mission Area; and managing C2DS Program Area Chief Engineers (PACE's) and Program Chief Engineers (PCE's). The C2DS MACE leads engagements with the Engineering Disciplines to identify and provide engineering resources needed to get required engineering work product requirements done (people, processes, facilities & tools) for all mission area programs. The MACE ensures that the C2DS engineering organization provides technical leadership throughout the entire product life cycle, and in particular, proactively supports the production and supply chain organizations. Additionally, the C2DS MACE provides technical oversight and engineering solution support for MOS programs, as required. Required Skills: Minimum of 14 years of related experience. Must have industry experience in Command Control, Tactical ISR and Environmental Intelligence. Experience working with various governmental agencies in DoD, Intelligence Community, and Space Significant experience with business development and capture management Broad engineering background that includes technical leadership of engineers and scientists Experience in program management activities, including working knowledge of Earned Value Management System (EVMS). Must have an active TS SCI Must be a US Citizen Desired Skills: IPT leadership and/or line engineering management experience.
