This position isA' located in Fairfax, Virginia.Our work centers develop the next generation of Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) systems for our Defense, Intelligence Community and allied partners.A' These systems are deployed to aircraft, ships, submarines and ground mobile vehicles for purposes of intercepting and exploiting signals in the radio frequency environment.Position Responsibilities:Manage the system, subsystem and component level requirementsDevelop and document concepts for capabilities to be implemented in hardware, software and firmwareCollaborate with vendors and commercial partners to develop new technology for insertion into customer systemsCollaborate with customer organizations to develop and deploy mission payloads to manned and unmanned aircraft platformsThrive in a dynamic environment while engaging with multiple development and integration teamsPrepare and present technical documentation and reports for delivery to customersSupport deployment, integration and testing on customer platforms and at customer sites, to include travelThis position requires an active US Top Secret/ SCI Security Clearance, for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. (A US Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Currently possess a Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistryMore than 10 years of experience as an engineerMore than 5 years of experience in a customer facing rolePreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Degree in electrical engineering or computer systems engineering disciplinesA' Experience with presenting technical content to large groups, such as PDR or CDR or TRRExperience with managing system level requirements from early development to customer witnessed testingExperience deriving subsystem level requirements and developing concept of operations for subsystem software development teamsExperience writing, executing, and controlling system test plans and proceduresExperience with radio frequency component analysis, design, production, testingExperience managing the cost and schedule parameters ofA' a development activityExperienceA' training and mentoringA' less experiencedA' engineersTypical Education & Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (eg Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (eg PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience).
