Northwest Federal Credit Union (NWFCU) is seeking a Senior Vice President to lead our Marketing and Communications team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader who can design and execute the marketing and communications efforts for internal and external audiences and credit union members. This key leadership role is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the credit union\u2019s marketing plans and communications efforts. Researches marketing needs and analyzes marketing/product trends for the credit union to ensure the credit union is positioned competitively. Plan, develop, and implement brand strategies and marketing programs. Provide oversight, direction, evaluation, and management to staff and/or vendors involved in the marketing and public relations campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Create and lead a cutting-edge communications strategy, including the development and implementation of a comprehensive communications plan
  • Design, develop, and implement marketing, public relations and internal communications programs
  • Oversee all marketing communications including branding, collateral materials, direct marketing activities, trade show exhibits, special events, and all online activities
  • Work directly with the Executive Leadership Team on both internal and external communications to key stakeholders, employees, members, and partners
  • Prepare, implement, and supervise the budget for the department that is consistent with the overall budget and strategic plan
  • Provide branding direction and develop and execute brand marketing programs
  • Track, measure, and evaluate the results of marketing programs to recommend and execute changes to brand strategy to ensure effectiveness
  • Lead brand performance reviews to ensure that brand strategies and performances remain on target in relation to overall credit union objectives
  • Direct the planning and coordination of product launch and assist in the creation of product portfolio
  • Research and recommend product or service enhancements to provide quality service
  • Guide the analysis of market trends and demographic data concerning members and potential members, products and services, and potential products and services
  • Review market research to anticipate competition and market trends and translate consumer attitudes into new branding directions
  • Consult with development teams on market requirements and product features
  • Communicate brand strategies to product management, marketing communications, sales, and other departments
  • Coordinate and aligns brand strategy with corporate marketing plan
  • Remains cognizant of and adheres to NWFCU policies and procedures as well as regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing or related field
  • Minimum 10 years\u2019 experience with branding/merchandising experience
  • Experience working in a financial institution is preferred
  • Demonstrated experience managing large teams
  • Experience leading brand strategy and brand development
