As a Program Analyst (Large Banks) in Large Bank Supervision (LBS) in Washington, DC, you will serve as technical expert in the administrative and operational program areas including planning and implementing programs (e.g. financial management/staffing, etc.); participate on cross-functional working groups and project teams to implement OCC-wide initiatives and programs; perform analyses, develop ad-hoc reports, and make recommendations to LBS senior management.

As a Program Analyst (Large Banks), you will:
  • Oversee, organize, direct, and coordinate a wide range of administrative and operational programs for LBS.
  • Analyze LBS operations; perform financial management, staffing/FTE/workforce planning, personnel management processes, office space planning requirements and program analysis/project management as well as ad-hoc reporting/requests in support of the supervision of Large Banks.
  • Advise LBS and other business unit senior management on administrative and operational programs; prepare in-depth analyses, recommendations, and presentations designed to enhance management decision making.
  • Participate in Large Bank planning/budgetary/staffing processes and development of annual objectives and initiatives.
  • Develop and enhance analytical methods/models, systems and databases, system interfaces, technology tools assessing supervisory data, financial management, staffing/Full-time equivalent (FTE)/workforce planning and personnel management program trends to promote and enhance LBS and other supported business unit program efficiencies and effectiveness.
  • Use OCC and LBS systems (e.g. e-Time, Expenses Report On-line (ERO), Strategy Automation Tool/National Resource Planning Tool (SAT/NRPT), HR Connect, Business Objects Datamart) to run reports to analyze and identify resource gaps, cost/benefit/budgetary issues and workforce and personnel trends.

Occasional travel - Travel overnight or locally.

You must meet the following requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of this announcement:

You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the NB-V band level. Examples of specialized experience for this position include:
  • Experience providing financial management, office space planning/requirements, or staffing/FTE/workforce planning services to an organization or agency; and
  • Serving as an advisor or consultant to senior management on operational, administrative functions/processes and other organizational matters.

The experience may have been gained in the public sector, private sector, or through volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
