Job DescriptionIn this compelling leadership position, you will direct a team responsible for identifying opportunities to improve organizational processes. In this role, you will review and analyze organizational processes, as well as manage the design and implementation of strategies to improve processes.THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKEThe Shared Services Operations - Process Improvement - Director role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:Direct ongoing management and monitoring of strategy of the group responsible for gathering information about team and organizational processes.Organize, lead, and facilitate cross-LOB, enterprise-wide process design and re-engineering initiatives that will encompass an end to end analysis and future state redesign that requires specialized knowledge or skill critical to the redesign effort in a matrix leadership environment.Develop, implement, and manage approaches to translating findings into actionable changes for teams or groups.Develop improvement approaches within businesses and across lines of businesses that are holistic, customer focused to understanding business processes and workflow through Fannie Mae and identify and prioritize new initiatives to drive business strategy, mitigate potential risks and control gaps, financial return, and/or positive customer impact.Establish standards for measuring performance against process requirements - Including the developing metrics that provide data for process management indicators for future improvement opportunities as well as advanced statistical analysis for business leaders, project teams, and managersMonitor results from changes in processes and adapt tactics and strategies as required.Direct implementation of enhancements to existing process improvement programs and continuously support customers.QualificationsTHE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAMMinimum Required Experiences8 yearsDesired ExperiencesBachelor degree or equivalent; Master degree preferred.BS/BA degree or higher in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, engineering, or physics Masters degree or military (supply chain, analytics or engineering experience) preferred.LEAN/Six Sigma certification or Fannie Mae business process management endorsement.Virtual leadership experience with ability to effectively drive results, provide feedback/direction, and manage and build relationships with leaders and team members in a geographically dispersed team environment.Strong understanding of financial controls and risk SkillsOperational Excellence including improving and overseeing operations.Experience helping an organization to plan and manage change in effort to meet strategic objectivesExperience identifying measures, or indicators of system performance, and the actions needed to improve or correct performance to achieve desired outcomesExperience gathering accurate information to explain concepts and answer critical questions.Governance and Compliance including creating policies, evaluating compliance, conducting internal investigations, developing data governance, etc.Adept at managing project plans, resources, and people to ensure successful project completionSkilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand.Influencing including negotiating, persuading others, facilitating meetings, and resolving conflict.Business Process Management SkillsBusiness Process Modeling.Design, Content Creation, and Editing SkillsEnterprise Systems Management (ESM)Risk Assessment and Management SkillsRisk MitigationToolsExcelHOPEXJIRAMicrosoft OneNoteMicrosoft TeamsSharePointSoftware AG ARISVisioAdditional InformationJOB REF ID: REF6059UThe future is what you make it to be.
