For more information, please visit: .ResponsibilitiesThe DoD Financial Management/Audit Remediation Lead helps clients optimize all elements of their finance organization, including operating model design, sustainable cost reduction, financial planning and analysis, management reporting, financial systems architecture, and full-scale finance transformation. Supporting audit remediation activities, such as developing/updating process documentation (eg, narratives and flow charts), and developing/implementing corrective action plans to address findings Performing recurring testing, such as testing internal controls, designing and executing Managers Internal Controls Programs Performing and reviewing statement analysis, financial information, reporting results, and financial statement audit report analysis Reviewing all documentation prepared by more junior personnel QualificationsRequired Bachelors Degree in accounting or business management from an accredited college or university One of the following professional certifications: CPA, CISA, CIA, CGFM or CDFM 9 years experience supporting the following: DoD accounting Providing assessments and improvements of financial statement auditability Applying pertinent financial accounting standards advisory board (FASAB) policies and federal financial management systems requirements Performing financial statement audits, audit readiness services or audit remediation and sustainment services within DoD or another Federal Government agency or department Active Secret Clearance Desired CPA Additional RequirementsThe successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as described.Disclaimer About Guidehouse Guidehouse is an Equal Employment Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
