Job Overview The Financial Analyst is responsible for a full range of financial expertise, which ensures the operational effectiveness and excellence of the projects they support. The Financial Analyst will track and analyze project spend and make appropriate recommendations that will positively impact the project. If new services are required, the Financial Analyst will work with project management and necessary teams to quantify scope and make pricing recommendations for review and approval. The Financial Analyst will interface with senior and executive management for project reviews and respond to their inquiries and requests. The Financial Analyst has a unique view into the operational and corporate delivery by understanding the entire project and business life cycle. Job Responsibilities * Performs financial analysis, reviews budget vs. actuals reports, and revises project forecasts * Performs monthly project reviews with project management to ensure consistent and accurate project data, identification of potential contract issues, additional contract scope, etc. * Performs monthly project reviews with senior management to provide current financial overview and escalate any potential issues requiring senior management involvement identified during project management monthly review * Works with project management to price services out of contract scope and coordinates review and approval with senior management * Works with project management to review and ensure accurate monthly client billings according to contract terms * Reviews collection issues and escalates issues as necessary * Assists in creation of project budgets Job Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required * Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). * Thorough understanding of Fixed Price Contracts * Thorough understanding of methods of systems analysis and the principles, design, and procedural methods used in big data analysis. * Thorough understanding of project management. * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office * Experience in Workday highly desired Why Work With Us?
