The responsibilities for this position include all aspects of the software development lifecycle including scope and work estimation, architecture and design, coding, and automated testing within an Agile and Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery model. You will direct major deliverables of projects through all aspects of the software development lifecycle including scope and work estimation, architecture and design, coding and unit testing. Additionally, you will determine and recommend the best designs based on customer business objectives, timelines and other resource constraints.Primary ResponsibilitiesA cents € cents Help build, manage and mentor multi-disciplined teams executing Agile and DevSecOps processes using best-of-breed toolsA cents € cents Cultivate a culture of innovation and promote collaboration across teams and projectsA cents € cents Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and continuously improve our software deliverablesA cents € cents Manage project priorities, deadlines and deliverablesBasic QualificationsA cents € cents Bachelor's' Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 12+ years of software engineering experience.A' Additional years experience may be used in lieu of degree.A cents € cents Hands-on expertise with Java/C++ and object oriented programming.A cents € cents Strong proficiency with basic web technologies including HTML, CSS, REST, JSON, and JavaScript.A cents € cents Demonstrated proficiency with web application technologies and deployment environments, including Docker, Kafka, and KubernetesA cents € cents Demonstrated understanding of security and security tools within a DevOps processA cents € cents Experience architecting, developing, and delivering complex software systems into productionA cents € cents Strong understanding of modern software design patterns and coding standardsA cents € cents Experience leading multi-disciplined technical project teams and setting the technical directionA cents € cents Working knowledge of Agile development and continuous integration and continuous delivery methodologies and toolsA cents € cents Experience with a version control system (eg, Git)A cents € cents Experience with an issue/problem tracking system (eg, Jira)A cents € cents Proficiency with multiple operating systems (Mac OSX, Windows, Linux, etc.)A cents € cents Interest and ability to learn new programming languages, tools, frameworks, and techniques.A cents € cents Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.Preferred QualificationsA cents € cents Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related fieldA cents € cents Hands-on experience with Agile management tools such as Jira, Bitbucket, GitLab, ConfluenceA cents € cents Hands-on experience with continuous integration and delivery tools such as Jenkins, SonarQube, JUnit, Cucumber, Selenium, JMeterA cents € cents Active DoD security clearance.External Referral Bonus:IneligibleExternal Referral Bonus $:Potential for Telework:Yes, 100%Clearance Level Required:SecretTravel:Yes, 10% of the timeScheduled Weekly Hours:40Shift:DayRequisition Category:ProfessionalJob Family:Software EngineeringPay Range:Pay Range $110,500.00 - $170,000.00 - $229,500.00#Remote
