Deputy Program Manager Job Category: Project and Program Management Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Local What You'll Get to Do: CACI is looking for an experienced Deputy Program Manager with strong contract management ability, Agile Scrum delivery skills, and project management/facilitation experience to work on a challenging program supporting the Department of State in Arlington, VA. You will work with talented colleagues at the Bureau of Diplomatic Security (DS), the law-enforcement arm of the State Department, and play an integral role in providing a broad range of systems and software technologies that protect US diplomatic missions and their personnel. The program emphasizes innovation, and CACI seeks individuals who can bring creative ideas to solve complex technical and procedural problems. We are seeking leaders who are adaptable, effective communicators, and able to work constructively within a technically diverse team. The candidate must be comfortable briefing executive leadership, and enthused to develop great working relationships with client leadership, customer agency representatives, software development teams, and CACI corporate management. More About the Role: The Deputy Program Manager will assist the Program Manager in leading Dedicated Software Development Teams, Enterprise IT Support, and an Agile Portfolio Management Office (APMO) to deliver customer-defined software applications and services in support of the Department of State Bureau of Diplomatic Security. The portfolio value of this business program is approximately $18M and 90 employees. The candidate will: * Perform contract management functions on behalf of the program with authority to act in absence of the Program Manager. * Execute tasks to facilitate program operations, including resource and staff management; subcontractor management; financial management, invoicing and reporting; meeting attendance; and Systems Solutions (SS) Division communications to ensure efficient delivery of software applications and IT projects. * Implement consistent and standard processes for business planning and forecasting, staffing, delivery reporting, and client relationship management. * Assist in providing clear and concise communications up, down, and across CACI. * Take an active role to oversee and help improve program processes and procedures. * Interface with the Contract Officer (KO) and the COR. * As part of the Agile Program Management Office (APMO) leadership team, act as a high-level Business Analyst to make sure Product Owners' needs are being satisfied at the enterprise level. * Review and provide input to a three-year roadmap describing the planned evolution of Department of State software platforms and operating environments. * Support quality assurance by reviewing relevant metrics that guide software development performance. * Provide overall management of Software-as-a-Service the (SaaS) team responsible for procurement and implementation activities to facilitate the delivery of cloud services in the portfolio, including the assessment of FedRAMP-authorized options and documentation to complete system accreditation in accordance with the Department's Assessment and Accreditation process. * Serve as CACI manager for 8-10 Direct Reports for hiring, performance, time and attendance, and evaluation. * Work closely with peers within the CACI BITS Sector as well as corporate staff to ensure effective pursuit strategies for programs that require business group collaboration. You'll Bring These Qualifications: * Typically requires bachelor's degree or equivalent, and 12-15 years of experience, including three to five years of supervisory/management experience. * Minimum of five years of applying information technology solutions to meet business needs.
