Senior Manager, Chief of Staff

If so, we have an exciting opportunity as a Chief of Staff on the Cyber Business Management team at Capital One. Our team is fast paced and composed of motivated professionals who love helping people and teams get things done. We are seeking a person who is highly organized and results-focused who will enable continued delivery on some of our technology organization's top priorities. The ideal candidate will have experience with problem solving, critical thinking, and exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

What You'll Own:
  • You will assist the cyber senior leadership team with strategic planning, including financial and labor planning in collaboration with finance and HR
  • You will work closely with all cyber business units and functions to align operations with strategy. You will affect results by maneuvering through appropriate formal and informal organization channels, influencing across all levels of the organization and across organizations
  • You will establish talent planning, coaching, mentoring, job shadowing, and the formation of employee engagement teams in support of one of the cyber senior leadership team members. You will champion employee engagement and diversity consistent with the team's efforts to mature our understanding and actions including opening pathways in order to increase the diversity of the team
  • You will leverage problem solving and influencing skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent
  • Identify opportunities within the organization where processes can be streamlined, automated, or improved
  • Other duties as assigned


Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
  • At least 7 years of Portfolio, Project, or Program Management experience


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills and follow-through
  • Initiative and ownership to drive work independently
  • Familiarity with Google Suite
