The consultant will support a variety of ad hoc projects focused on project spending, building/maintaining dashboards, planning, forecasting and annual budgeting. Consider this Financial Analyst consultant role if you want to perform analysis of the operating results and financial performance of core business segments supporting reporting requirements, and provide decision-making support for future company investments. Your responsibilities in this role: - Track financial results with greater accuracy and discretion by working with Operating and Accounting to drive improved management reporting- Cultivate business performance through the use and execution of dashboards, intermediate Excel, and core financial analysis- Draft quarterly and monthly management reporting - evaluating financial results, summarizing key trends, analyzing current and future business risks, and flagging critical updates to senior leadership- Work closely with functional leads and program managers to analyze expense reporting, royalty advances, etc. - Assist in other ad-hoc analysis and presentation requestsJob Requirements:- Applicants are required to hold a Finance, Business, or related field BA/BS degree- Prior experience in accounting and reporting software, databases and other BI tools recommended including MS Excel, Tableau, SQL, etc. - Ability to apply critical thinking and critical decision making skills with management- Strong problem solving and analytical skills- Proficiency in budgeting and variance analysis- Ability to work effectively and cross-functionally, think practically and be solution-oriented- Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills highly desireRobert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
