Our Values: Safety of our team drives every decision we make An entrepreneurial spirit fostered by healthy work environments Fiscal responsibility Exceptional Customer service Job Summary: This position will report to the Vice President of Continuous Improvement and will have no direct reports.A' The Financial Analyst is responsible for identifying and assisting with resolving issues and managing programs impacting the financial health of the operation. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for recommending, developing, and implementing changes and new procedures based on the thorough review and analysis of our current policies, resources, operations, processes, and procedures.A' Facilitate and execute on all aspects of Operational Excellence including analysis in support of engagements and drive results for continuous improvement within all operations and business components.A' Supervisory Responsibilities: This position will have no direct reports. Job Duties: Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking. Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support. Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews. Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements. Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting. Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts. Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization. Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials. Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards. Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of financial instruments, market conditions, and trends. Maintain a strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models Grow financial performance through analysis of financial results, forecasts, variances, and trends. Create recommendations to be presented to management and executives. Develop financial models to support valuation, planning, and forecasting. Develop proforma P&L analysis/pricing for new business opportunities. Aid in the capital budgeting and expenditure planning processes. Conduct comparable analysis and market research to support internal financial analysis. Oversight and management of compensation and bonus plans. Management of Comdata account. Oversight of corporate travel program. Manage corporate purchasing program for office supplies and other expendable items. Demonstrate understanding of systems and interdependencies of processes that drive the business. Evaluate existing processes and workflows to identify areas that could benefit from changes and/or improvements. Analyze data and information to identify business opportunities and recommend updates to policies and procedures aimed at improving overall performance. Participate in the design and implementation of new processes or procedures that mitigate risks while resolving deficiencies. Successfully carry out internal and external reports on an as needed basis.A' Accurately update company and customer KPI reports. Job Qualifications: 5 years of business finance or other relevant experience Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Statistics - MBA Preferred Strong quantitative and analytical competency Solid business acumen Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills Understanding of and ability to analyze and improve operations and processes Proficient in Excel using basic functions and formulas. Ability to learn new skills, strong presentation skills Understanding of TMW, MS Office, Omnitracs, and other systems Ability to adapt and work efficiently in a collaborative, rapidly changing environment. Ability to structure, prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, operate a computer keyboard, and speak on the telephone.
