Technology Support & Device Manager
Browne Academy is currently searching for a Technology Support & Device Manager to assist our faculty, staff and students with their 1:1 device needs and monitoring technology to ensure all on campus technology is functioning correctly. Position: PART TIME M-F 8:00 – 12:00
Duties to include:
- Troubleshoot classroom interactive boards and ensure functionality for all classrooms
- Troubleshoot network issues and act as liaison between campus users and offsite network administrator
- Managing WiFi connectivity for all devices in all classrooms
- Managing student devices for 1:1 program (iPads, MacBooks, Chromebooks) in grades Kindergarten through grade Eight
The ideal candidate will:
- Possess Bachelor's degree, preferably in Information Systems and/or Computer Science
- Be a self starter and adapt to a variety of daily tasks
- Have at least 1-3 years progressive experience in a school setting
- Experience in maintaining and troubleshooting technical issues related to Windows OS, macOS, and iOS on various platforms - laptops, desktops, iPads, interactive whiteboards, and video conferencing equipment.
- Have knowledge of WiFi management, and network infrastructure
- Support school’s Information Services including audio/visual support, network support, telecommunications - VOIP system/application management, and troubleshooting
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Have working knowledge of 21st century technology and applications in classroom environment as well as an office setting
- Have the ability to work effectively and communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing with all levels of the organization
