About the Team: Within the US Card Data Science organization, we provide critical development and support for the models that help Capital One revolutionize the banking industry and provide transformational experiences for our customers. Our team explores and leverages new technologies to continuously improve our modeling strategy and customer outcomes.
About the Role: You'll work closely with model developers and data scientists to lead the creation of innovative modeling pipelines that streamline model training and analysis to increase insight speed to market. Your responsibilities will include deeply understanding our customer needs, prioritizing feature development through an agile delivery framework, and crafting compelling communications for partners and senior leadership.
In this role, you'll be expected to demonstrate proficiency in four key areas

- You'll own and prioritize the near-term product roadmap to deliver on business outcomes and utilize data effectively to define success metrics and measurable outcomes

- Technology Driven
- You'll understand and leverage technology and end-state architecture vision to partner with technology/data science teams to drive comprehensive design decisions
- You'll lead and facilitate agile ceremonies alongside the Tech Lead

- Transformational Leadership
- You'll develop and communicate a 6-month vision to senior stakeholders and partner teams, and proactively build relationships with those outside of your immediate team
- You'll Contribute to team culture and recruiting by leading activities to attract and retain top talent and mentoring and developing junior product associates

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or military experience
- At least 3 year of product management experience or at least 3 year of experience in product design, agile delivery, business analysis, data science, or software engineering
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- MBA or Master's degree
- 2+ years of experience in Agile product management
