This company is very interested in seeing this person get promoted to accounting manager or assistant controller level in 18-24 months. Responsibilities * Performing monthly financial close functions through preparation of financial statements * Reconciliation of all general ledger accounts. * Monthly budget to actual variance analysis * Monthly completion of a three-month financial forecast. * Acting as an effective finance co-pilot to the general manager and other decision makers * Assisting with quarterly Sarbanes Oxley compliance and review * Participating in annual budget process * Providing training to non-financial personnel on internal control compliance, accounting procedures and financial statement review. * Ad hoc duties as assigned. Accounting or Finance preferred * Public accounting experience preferred. * Advanced degree or professional certification like CPA or CMA are huge plusses. * Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Excel and related accounting business systems.Salary range does not include bonus.
