Wells Fargo Wholesale Technology is looking for a SQL SSRS and ETL Engineer to support Corporate Trust Services emBTRUST application. Role is responsible for development of SSIS packages, SSRS, SQL stored procedures and views. Role is also responsible for independently developing new automation testing scripts and on-going maintenance, and advise on the sizing efforts of automation development for new projects. Must be able to work with little direction and be a self-starter. Provides guidance and direction to less experienced staff in resolution of escalated issues and/or highly complex technical problems. Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported technology domain. Possess strong analytical and organizational skills. Responsible for primary development of testing strategies, perform more complex analysis of business requirements and systems specifications. Well versed with SDLC. Other duties may include, unit testing, coding, SIT, writing SQL queries, database testing. Utilize technical and functional knowledge of application to provide assistance in identifying, evaluating, and resolving complex test problems in a multi operating system and network environment. Wells Fargo recently announced their intent to sell the Corporate Trust Services (CTS) business to Computershare, a global specialized financial services company. The sale was announced in late March 2021 and is expected to close in the second half of 2021. We are continuing to recruit for all open positions supporting CTS, but want to ensure you are aware that this position, along with around 2000 others, will transfer to Computershare when the sale closes. Responsibilities: Develop original and/or complex code or provides coding guidance to less experienced staff. Develop solutions that can leverage existing development/tools as well as create solutions that act as building blocks for future development. Analyze business requirements, designs and write technical specifications to design SSIS, SSRS, SQL stored procedures, Microservices or databases. Verify program logic by preparing test data, testing and debugging of programs. Participate in overall systems testing. Develop, execute, and maintain automation suite of test scripts. Perform application support and troubleshooting, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff in resolution of escalated issues and/or complex production, application or system problems. Assure quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area and oversee updating and testing of the business continuation plan. Ensure compliance with all SDLC policies and procedures including effective planning of all changes in advance to ensure all required lead times, SDLC checkpoints, etc. are met.
