Worldstrides is seeking a highly motivated Senior FP&A Analyst to join our Financial Planning and Analysis team. The Analyst will be the FP&A business partner for multiple divisions and/or cost centers, and provide ongoing support to the Head of FP&A. This person will be expected to conduct in-depth financial forecasting and analysis of monthly financial and operating results, prepare ongoing financial and operational KPI dashboards, provide support on strategic planning and the analysis of new business opportunities, as well as develop financial and managerial presentations. Duties require broad conceptual judgment, quantitative thinking, strong initiative, and ability to deal with and articulate clearly complex business and financial problems. Ideal candidates are proactive, goal-oriented, and team players. Key responsibilities: Be a key player in all financial matters relating to forecasting, planning, performance reporting and analytics Identify, track and analyze key performance metrics pertaining to business operations; including revenue, sales pipelines, cost of sales and operating expenses Work closely with business partners, to lead the development of regular forecasts, annual budget, long-term strategic plans, and provide insights to the leadership teams relating to the financial models and assumptions used Leveraging various systems to obtain data, create reports, implement new modelling for business partners and to deliver meaningful insights into the business performance Partner the Accounting team on Month End activities, reconciliations and analysis to ensure accuracy of entries Interpret and communicate results and strategic recommendations to business stakeholders, including the Executive team, through the delivery of reports and presentations Support the reporting and analysis of the Consolidated figures, pertaining to month end results, forecasting and budgeting and sales metrics Facilities cross-functional collaboration across all levels of the organization to improve financial results Contribute to and lead ad hoc financial analysis, including scenario planning for new and existing business opportunities, staffing metrics, margin analysis, to support new investment, strategic and other business decisions What the role requires: 5+ years work experience in financial reporting, financial planning and analysis, accounting and / or corporate finance Bachelors Degree in Business or Accounting Accounting knowledge or background Proficiency in; Adaptive Insight (System Administration, Formula and Report writing, Sheet creation, Data Architecture Governance), Tableau, MS SQL, SalesForce, CRM Dynamics (Reporting, MS Office: Excel (eg Pivot tables, V Lookup), Power Point, Data visualization Advanced financial modelling and analytical skills Demonstrate aptitude for analytics and problem solving Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Strong and proactive communication skills, with a strong service orientated approach. The ability to explain complex topics clearly both verbally and in writing Project and time management skills, with an ability to manage multiple projects in an organized manner, under pressure and within short time constraints Driver of projects, with a focus on improving and automating processes Position requires extended hours when necessary.
