DescriptionJob Description:The Mission Solutions Operation within the Intelligence Group of Leidos is seeking a Senior Capture Manager to strengthen and advance trusted relationships within the Intelligence Community with the objective of growing Leidos revenue in the areas of Information Technology. The Senior Capture Strategy Manager must have proven skills and must understand the current and evolving Intelligence Community missions and their importance to US national security, as well as the full range of current and emerging Intelligence Community doctrine, operational concepts, and requirements. This role requires technical education and considerable leadership experience. Candidate must have a proven record of leading and growing capabilities in federal intelligence markets. The position will report to the Vice President of Business Development Operations and Strategy. The position is located primarily in Chantilly, VA and requires a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.Primary Responsibilities: The Senior Capture Strategy Manager is responsible for identifying, qualifying, and supporting capture and closure on Intelligence Community business opportunities; facilitating needs identification; understanding and sharing the full range of corporate capabilities; and maximizing internal collaboration. The successful candidate has responsibility for leading, developing, and executing the overall strategy associated with an approved pursuit effort to increase the win probability of new and existing projects. Duties include working closely with the responsible business development or marketing lead, supporting the transition from opportunity identification into capture efforts; gaining and maintaining an in-depth understanding of both the customer's and Leidos business and the competitive landscape (including competitors/teaming partners); and leading the development of a strategic Call Plan. Duties may include orchestrating bid strategy, developing and building capture and proposal teams, providing oversight of the development of proposal volumes, and creating a communications and marketing plan. Additional responsibilities may include: developing (with technical and SME support) solutions for assigned opportunities; managing relationships with partners and corporate staff for proposed solution development; participating in business planning activities, to include periodic pipeline reviews, operating plan development, bid agenda development, opportunity gate reviews, black hat sessions, win theme and discriminator workshops, proposal and program reviews, and lessons learned activities; communicating status, resource needs, capture strategy, and recommendations to executive leadership; overseeing the proposal phase of the opportunity to ensure successful delivery to the client; and contributing feedback and innovative ideas to the team in support of continuous improvement.Required Education, Skills, and Experience:Bachelor's degree and 15+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 13+ years of prior relevant experienceMust possess extensive understanding of Intelligence Community customers and Intelligence Community doctrine, concepts, and requirementsDemonstrated ability to develop new ideas and quickly apply ideas to help direct solution development for Intelligence Community specific problems to support quantitative top line growth numbersProven ability to work in a complex, multi-faceted organization with a wide range of customer offerings. Ability to develop, and sustain Intelligence Community customer relationships at all requisite levels. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to communicate with senior executive leadership regarding mattes of strategic importance to the organizationExperience in leading and growing technical, complex, and strategic capabilities and opportunities with emphasis on stakeholder engagement and solution development.
