Job Description:$500 Sign On Bonus for New Hires!*The EVS Service Technician are responsible for the overall cleaning of all areas throughout the medical campus to assure that the facility is in compliance with all expectations and standards related to patient safety, infection control, customer satisfaction and regulatory requirements. To achieve this purpose, the service technicians are required to be proficient in the cleaning, disinfecting, waste removal and the maintaining of all disposable products of all areas of the facility including but not limited to, patient rooms, surgical areas, medical practices, clinical area, offices, common areas, support areas and restrooms. The Service technicians are required to clean and disinfect floors, walls, ledges, ceilings, beds, medical equipment, furnishings, commodes, sinks and any other items within the environment that are determined to be part of the EVS cleaning responsibilities.*Effective 7/14/21 and expires 12/31/2021Requirements:Must possess a high school diploma or GED or pass literacy examUse heavy-duty floor care machines, use mop, hang curtains, move furniture, table etc.Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize one or more of the following:Microsoft Word, Power Point, ExcelMicrosoft OutlookMeditech (if applicable to position)Epic (if applicable to position)Performance Manager/NetLearning Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner.Must be able to work independently and possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.Must possess the ability to effectively communicate and deal tactfully with other personnel, visitors, patients, physicians, customers, and the general public.Must be flexible, have personal integrity, and the ability to function effectively as a team with other employees.Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.by Jobble
