What You Will Do Physical Therapist Assistants play a central role in our facility by working with our Therapy team to utilize their skills and make a difference in patients' lives. Cadia Healthcare is dedicated to providing the best care possible and as a Physical Therapist Assistant, that's exactly what you'll do! Under the supervision of our Physical Therapists, you provide physical therapy to a wide range of patients and ensure our residents complete their recovery. Responsibilities * Use a range of technique, exercises, activities to strengthen muscles, improve balance, coordination, transfers, and gait. * Assist with patient treatments to ensure their progress and improvement * Help motivate and assist patients to perform various physical activities, such as non manual exercises, daily living activities * Collaborate with Physical Therapists in the delivery of the plan of care * May be required to assist with treatments at neighboring facilities based on census. Requirements * Must possess current Maryland Physical Therapist Assistant Licensure or eligible for reciprocity. * Bachelor's degree in physical therapy * At least 6 months of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant with caring for patients of varying age groups. * Proficient with Rehab Optima and Microsoft Office software#06022021
