Position Summary. The Program Manager (PM) plays a central role in coordinating and overseeing Jubilee's support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. Program Managers typically are responsible for the support of 12-15 people and supervise a team of 20-30 Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). The Program Manager is expected to provide leadership in a way that models Jubilee's core values, builds community, and enhances relationships. We are looking for a bilingual (English/Spanish) professional for this role. Responsibilities * The Person-Centered Plan. The goals and dreams of the people Jubilee supports is our number one priority. A new apartment? A new job? Getting in shape? Pursuing hobbies? Spending time with friends? Nurturing spiritual life? The PM will use the necessary tools and resources within Jubilee to reveal those dreams and goals, will work collaboratively with the Person- Centered Plan (PCP) Manager, and use a robust PCP process to help each person get there. This support will be done with the highest level of customer service, engagement, and clear communication. * Work first and foremost with the person receiving service and together with the team, write SMART goals (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time-Based). * Attend and be an active participant in all PCP meetings. * Work within the framework and timeframe of Jubilee's PCP Process. * Work in collaboration with the person receiving services and team in the development of the PCP, and if applicable include the nurse with a Nursing Care Plan (NCP) and/or Behavioral Support Services with a Behavior Plan (BP). * Services. The PM will ensure that policies and procedures are followed to address the PCP, health, and safety of every person receiving services on their team within Jubilee, and that services will reflect and support a person's individual rights, choice and inclusion within the community to the greatest extent possible. * New Admissions. The PM will coordinate with prospective service recipients, their families, and other team members to explore Jubilee services. For people admitted to Jubilee services, the PM will support their transition to the Jubilee community. Many new admissions or their families may be Spanish-speaking. * Supervision. The PM will be responsible for the hiring, supervision, and evaluation of (DSPs) on their team. * Hiring. The PM with Human Resources (HR) will assist with identifying, interviewing, and onboarding prospective DSPs that meet the role requirements. * Training. The PM will assist with onboarding activities especially in making sure all new hires are fully trained to best serve the people they will be supporting. * Supervision. The PM is responsible for the management/supervision of DSPs on their team. * Oversight on DSPs' day-to-day activities. Those activities should reflect the person's PCP and policies/procedures set forth by Jubilee. * Oversight on DSPs' clock in/out procedures, use of our database in documentation after each shift to reflect action on PCP goals, incident reporting, mail and medication management, technology practices such as scanning/uploading pertinent information, etc. * Use of effective management skills to encourage attendance at team meetings, agency-wide meetings, and communication/responsiveness to you as their supervisor. * Oversight on DSP training compliance. * Will apply assistive/ corrective measures within the confines of our Personnel Policies. * Scheduling. Manage and oversee scheduling of employees within existing budgets, including coordinating leave arrangements, using the team to manage unexpected changes or under-staffing. Ultimately, the Program Manager is responsible for filling in for DSPs if all other arrangements fail to meet coverage needs. * Liaison. Will communicate with families of persons receiving services, neighbors, employers or day service providers, medical providers, and licensing personnel. Promote opportunities for inclusion and the development and maintenance of meaningful relationships, including spiritual care. * Leadership. Will facilitate effective teamwork: * Meet with team at least monthly - to update staff on agency news and communicate feedback to Management Team so that team members may provide support to each other, problem-solve about program issues, arrange coverage, plan team events, work on effectiveness as a team. * Facilitate opportunities for employees to cross-train at other services or with other persons served. * Model participation in agency events. Encourage team members' leadership development within the team. * Participate. in agency events including weekly Pathfinder's meetings, monthly Management Team, sub-committees upon request, monthly Agency-Wide, agency retreats. and all other duties as assigned. Minimum requirements: * Bachelor's degree preferred * Two+ years of related experience, preferably with adults with developmental disabilities * Bilingual (English and Spanish) * DSPII credential preferred * Collaborative servant leadership skills and style, with experience motivating and supporting others with a calm presence and respect for a diversity of experience, opinions, faiths, and values * Strong relationship builder and communicator, including interpersonal skills and well-developed written and oral communication skills * Proficiency in MS Office Suite and comfort working in database systems About Jubilee.
