The selected candidate will serve our population of over 2300 employees with excellent customer service in all facets of our benefits. This position requires excellent responsiveness, poise, patience, positive demeanor, and the ability to problem solve in a team environment. The right individual will have the opportunity to grow within the organization, taking on additional responsibilities as their skills warrant.

  • Conducts company-wide new hire orientation twice a month
  • Coordinates onboarding of new hires, E-verify and ensures all new hire documents are complete
  • Interacts with vendors resolving issues and providing relevant employee data
  • Interacts with our employees to assist with changes to benefits
  • Coordinates our Wellness Initiatives and our New Mom Program
  • Coordinates COBRA / termination notices
  • Responsible for some Benefits Reporting and Filing
  • Responsible for Employment Verifications and OPM Investigations

Required Skills & Required Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of three to five years' experience in benefits administration/HR
  • Positive customer service orientation; ability to maintain composure while working with diverse population
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) are needed
