Overview: IntelliBridge is an award-winning national security company with an immediate opening for an IT Operational Analyst to support a federal law enforcement client’s Open Source Intelligence Program. This position is exempt.

Clearance: Active Secret clearance is required at time of application.

Responsibilities/Duties:
  • Provide technical advice and guidance in tools, technology and tradecraft to support the planning and execution of open source collection and analysis operations.
  • Collaborate with Program analysts, Program management, and other stakeholders to ensure recommended technologies synchronize user needs and application in the analytical process to accomplish Program objectives.
  • Responsible managing the licenses for all Program software. This includes enterprise licenses to be assigned to personnel serving abroad.
  • Conduct routine reviews of the usage of these licenses and inform Program management of licenses that are not being used or where the user has departed post. Coordinate with the vendor to reassign licenses.
  • Ensure long-term requirements of systems operations and administration are included in the overall information systems planning of the organization.
  • Plan and recommend machine modifications or additional equipment to increase the capacity of the system.
  • Responsible for the installation, maintenance, configuration, and integrity of computer software.
  • Implement operating system enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system.
  • Perform software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages.
  • Schedule installations and upgrades and maintains them in accordance with established IT policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and tune the system to achieve optimum performance levels. Ensures workstation/server data integrity by evaluating, implementing, and managing appropriate software and hardware solutions.
  • Conduct routine hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive operating system hardware and software configuration database/library of all supporting documentation.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and respond to hardware, software, and network problems.
  • Refer major hardware or software problems or defective products to vendors or technicians for service.
  • Evaluate and provide feedback on new and existing software products by staying abreast of current industry technologies.
  • Advise on selection of technological purchases with regards to processing, data storage, data access, and applications development.
  • Perform periodic performance reporting.
  • Perform host based and virtual machine (VM) OS based ant-virus software/definitions updates.
  • Responsible for archival and restoration as needed of all data elements and files.
  • Ensure proper database architecture and system configuration documentation is kept current, 100% accurate and reliable.
  • Install new/rebuild existing computers and desktop based VMs.
  • Configure hardware, software, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project//operational requirements.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs and management plan documents for the Anonymous/Direct Internet Connection (A/DIN). The contractor shall develop and maintain computer and desktop based VMs.
  • Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of the A/DIN system and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as VM backups.


Required Skills/Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or minimum of 8 years of experience with no degree.
  • Strong knowledge of technological processes, databases, hardware and software used in the personal computer administration.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant current and emerging technology.
  • Ability to work independently, manage a dynamic portfolio, and communicate status of work
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong ability to adapt to changing priorities and timelines

Location: Arlington, VA

Travel: CONUS and OCONUS travel up to 10%
