About the Job The People & Culture Team is hiring a Principal People Partner to support the Sales organization as MotoRefi is set to double in size in 2021. The Principal People Partner will be a strategic partner to the business and an expert at building high performing teams. You'll think strategically and see the big picture, but you will also be prepared to roll up your sleeves and get things done! Reporting to the Associate Director, People & Culture, the Principal People Partner will: Offer thought leadership regarding organizational and people-related strategy and execution Coach varying levels of managers to build leadership capabilities and resolve employee issues Partner closely with Recruiting to ensure the business is strategically meeting their hiring needs while ensuring diversity across each department Partner closely with the Associate People Partner in supporting the Sales organization Create and administer training for teams on leadership skills, inclusion, and relevant topics as needed Proactively manage employee relations quickly and effectively Identify and drive people policies and programs that enable the organization to perform effectively and scale efficiently as it grows Actively participate in the rollout of company-wide People Team initiatives and programs including performance management, talent management & development, workforce planning, and culture/change management Own and drive quarterly HR projects and collaborate with team members as the People & Culture Team continues to build out initiatives Foster a diverse culture aligning with MotoRefi's values and the uniqueness of each department Facilitate HR administration as needed such as offers, offboarding, and new hire onboarding Technology systems: People & Culture is currently utilizing the below platforms: Zenefits, our HCM Greenhouse, our ATS Lattice, for engagement surveys, quarterly reviews & development About you 7+ years of HR consulting/business partner working across multiple locations, including supporting remote employees You are experienced at building high performing teams and are comfortable with the ambiguity of the start-up environment You are a hands-on business partner and actively dive into the business to understand each teams' function as it aligns to the overall business goals You have strong coaching skills, are a pro at conflict resolution, relationship and team-building skills while partnering with all levels of employees. You have crafted and delivered effective training and team building events with proven results Strong competency within the HR function including performance management, engagement, career development, leadership, and coaching. Data-driven and pragmatic problem-solver who can find root causes of issues and gain leadership support to address them while driving solutions.
