Description:The Sales Support Associate is a self-driven achiever who wants to see the team win. The position requires a confident individual who can make decisions and take action on their responsibilities. The position by necessity requires ability to work in a fast-paced environment, supporting executives and managers with all aspects of the business development life cycle.Responsibilities:The Sales Support Associate strives for excellence, operating with urgency to ensure prospects are advancing through the business development process. As the key support person for the business pursuit team the position will:Conduct telephone and email outreach to support Ascellon's sales campaign activities.Gain expertise on Ascellon's systems, such as Salesforce, and company collaterals, reports, case studies, best practices and offerings.Initiate communication to advance the business development process and coordinate proposal activities.Manage a repository of information on leads, accounts and contacts to efficiently create compelling responses to inquiries.Prioritize activities and juggle competing demands in a fast-paced environment.Track effectiveness of outreach activities and pursuits.Identify new business opportunities and partners.Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various levels of management, staff, and customers.Demonstrate responsiveness, versatility, credibility and dependability.Demonstrate a natural ability to connect with others and be comfortable working with senior colleagues and building a strong network that helps get things done effectively.Participate in outreach and marketing activities, including attending industry meetings, conferences and seminars.Requirements:A Bachelor's degree is required. A concentration in business, marketing or a related field is preferred.Expertise and proven proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint are required.A minimum of two years of business, marketing or sales support experience is required. A background in sales or communication is a plusExperience working with one or more CRM software (eg, Salesforce) is preferred.Must be a self-starter who recognizes opportunities and responds proactively.Demonstrated experience working with internal and external organizations to accomplish goals Ability to keep pace with multiple activities without missing deadlines.Superior verbal and written communications skills. Self-directed and able to work with minimum supervision to accomplish objectives.Must be authorized to work in the United States.
