This is a wonderful opportunity to work in Washington Dc and to work in many of the wonderful Museums we have in Washington. This is a long term contract, if your back ground fits look forward to hearing from you.

LPN new grade or 1 year exsperience, worked as a Med tech or EMT

We are in search of a skilled, professional, and energetic licensed practical nurse, licensed in ANY state, to work in one of our museums. This is a one-year contract scheduled to begin May 25, 2020. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. No nights, no weekends, and paid holidays!

Responsibilities include:
  • Identifying employee and visitor care requirements by establishing personal rapport to understand care requirements.
  • Monitoring and charting information to ensure the health and well-being for employees and visitors.
  • Responding to emergencies in a timely manner throughout the museum. Must be able to carry a 20 pound emergency kit.
  • Assuring quality of care by measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and standards and making or recommending any necessary adjustments.
  • Resolving visitors' problems and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies.
  • Maintaining safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations and calling for assistance from health care support personnel.
  • Protecting employees and visitors by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols, medication administration and storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations.
  • Documenting employee or visitor care services by charting and organizing department records.
  • Maintaining visitor/employee confidence and protecting operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Maintaining a cooperative relationship with Registered Nurse Manager by communicating information; responding to requests; building rapport; participating in team problem-solving methods.
