The MIL Corporation is seeking an Information Systems and Cyber Security, Senior Associate, who will serve as a Cyberspace Policy Analyst Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Operational Technology (OT) to support a Federal Government client via remote access . Selected candidate must be near a Navy Regional Installation to check SIPR email 2-4 times per month at no cost to the government. The SME will apply leading-edge cyberspace principles, theories, and concepts and contribute to the development of new principles and concepts in cyber security for OT solutions found throughout the industrial passive information technology (IT) environment, e.g., civil, electrical, and mechanical engineering, facility-related control systems, energy, transportation, utilities, critical infrastructure, public safety, telecommunications .

  • Work toward resolution of unusually complex cyberspace challenges to provide highly innovative solutions.
  • Support the prevention, mitigation, and response planning through development of cyber security policy and governance for areas such as:
    • Data theft and espionage including attackers seeking to understand key systems, infrastructure, assets, and developing footholds for future attacks.
    • Extortion or ransom.
    • Attack vectors that degrade, disrupt, deny, deceive, or destroy operations.
    • Incidents that cause process disruption or physical destruction.
  • Create, interpret, or analyze: policies, processes, emerging trends, OT supply chain risks, threat intelligent, and information sharing.
  • Develop strategies to complex problems that require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity.
  • Synthesize complex challenges into executive briefs and decision papers.
  • Conduct data mining using state of the art methods and tools.
  • Support all forms of OT exercises and planning
  • Support government led, pre & post-assessment and inspection activities.

Required Qualifications
  • 15 years of cyber experience in the OT environment for solutions used to control or monitor physical processes, electrical, and mechanical equipment.
  • Have experience in common data science toolkits and data visualization tools.
  • Experience with conducting research and analysis and contributing to the coordination of strategy, policy, and doctrine in cyberspace.
  • Experience developing reports and briefings on policy, strategy, and doctrine activities.
  • Experience analyzing policies on cyberspace issues and researching authorities, concerns, and equities to ensure accurate representation.
  • Advanced knowledge of cyberspace policies.
  • Experience providing background support and current status for documents and presentations.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills.
  • Meet IAM level 3 requirements.
  • Limited CONUS and OCONUS travel required - estimated four (4) trips per year.
  • Per federal guidelines, ability to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or obtain by December 8, 2021

Master's Degree from an accredited college. A combination of other degrees, experience, certifications & training could be substituted for a master's degree.
