Summary

As a Program Manager at the GS-0340-15, you will be part of the Federal Employees Insurance Operations,Healthcare and Insurance, Office of Personnel Management. If selected, you will be responsible for managing a number of insurance benefit programs and coverage for Federal employees, annuitants, their eligible family members and other eligible groups and persons.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements comprehensive communication strategies to inform the staff and other stakeholders about FEIO initiatives and their results.
  • Implements corrective actions and work plans to improve internal controls and reduce fraud, waste and abuse in the administration of insurance programs.
  • Engages technical staff and leadership of internal OPM organizations in developing implementing, utilizing and evaluating systems and processes in effective benefits administration.

Qualifications

For the GS 15: You must have one year specialized experience at the next lower grade level (GS-14) or equivalent in the Federal Service (or equivalent) which includes knowledge of health care management or benefit programs, accounting, and financial statements; knowledge of management policies and techniques to manage the administrative and operational functions of the program office; experience in the review and analysis of complex audits, including experience with sampling and audit processes; experience participating in or leading administrative support activities that include scheduling, allocation of resources, correspondence, communication, and training; or experience with audit resolution procedures.

You must meet all qualification and eligibility requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
