Duration : 11 monthhs Location : Manassas, VA Job Title : Quality Technician I Work Hours : Monday-Friday 7am - 4pm Pay Rate : Based on experience Overview : Role Purpose Tests and inspects products at various stages of the production process in order to determine and maintain the quality and reliability of products. Achieve department requirements for safety, quality, product release, equipment uptime, sample throughput, and cost. Ensures goods are tested to meet release commitments. Education and Experience Requirements : Experiences/Education Required: Minimum of 2 year degree in a science related field or 2 years relevant work experience 1 year experience in a lab setting using aseptic technique and pipetting Knowledge of cell culture technique and experience culturing different cell lines Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Must be detail-oriented Able to work well both independently and in a group settingDesired: Bachelor's degree in science related field Familiarity with cGxP environments and QC testing methodologies (eg pH, osmolality, density, endotoxin, sterility, cell culture, and microbiological methods) Prior experience performing testing and track record of delivering results Understanding of Manufacturing processes for product formulation, CIP, SIP, and Torque & Fill Additional Information : No third party resumes will be accepted CTG will consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the requirements of all applicable local, state, and federal laws.
