Success in the role requires an encouraging leader, partnership attitude, a proven track record of delivering next generation of highly secure cloud based software products, problem solving, data protection and risk management, program management skills, and a passion for technical and operational excellence This Director will be responsible for the following critical objectives: Accelerating the delivery and deployment of a next-generation investigator platform which will take advantage of Capital One's cutting-edge technologies such as its Streaming Data Platform and Machine Learning capabilities.Building a deep partnership with the Operational and Compliance Risk function and advising the team on technology topics both inside and outside Capital One's Enterprise Technology Organization.Transforming how Capital One's associates in AML, Compliance, and Operational Risk do their work, creating a better experience and simultaneously enhancing the company's ability to manage risk. Key Accountabilities:Manage an organization of software engineers, data engineers, technology associates, and solution architects that support AML Investigations platformsOperate mission critical applications at the highest levels of resiliency and securityDrive the transformation of technology to create a best in class investigator platform on the cloud that includes services, data aggregation, automation, and use of AIDevelop a data architecture and strategy to modernize, leverage and protect data used in our investigationsWork with legacy COTS products that can be modernized as cloud-based, real-time and intelligent. Provide senior-level technical consulting to application development teams during application design and development for highly complex or critical projects Provide oversight for budgets and project plans, and manage technology risks and issues Accelerate the ongoing cultural transformation to a product-mindset that embraces user-centered design and agile methodologies.
