The Project Engineer II supports our Adventist Healthcare (AHC) Capital Projects program, field construction activities and spends a majority of time working with our Project Managers supporting project administration on multiple projects of varying size up to $100M plus. Activities include managing and supporting the management of cost and schedule, design review for constructability and compliance with AHC standards, technical evaluations, quality, safety, work planning, procurement process, contract management, regulatory compliance, etc. The project engineer at this level regularly engages in problem analysis and exercises discretion and independent judgment in selecting and applying engineering theories and general industry practices. Will give functional / technical recommendations to the project team. Willingness to travel to construction site locations is expected.

As a Project Engineer II, you will:
• Support Project Manager on Management of Cost and Schedule
• Support Project Manager for Engineering Solutions and Quality
• Support Project Safety and Risk Management
• Support Information Technology planning thru project implementation
• Support Medical Equipment Planning, procurement, and installation
• Receive data and compile summary reports of all project activities for management on weekly and monthly basis as required
• Perform additional assignments as directed by the Project Manager

Qualified candidates will possess:
• 4-year degree from an accredited college or university in a related engineering, architecture or construction management discipline
• 2 years of experience of construction related experience is preferred.
• Healthcare Facilities Engineering & Construction experienced preferred.
