American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Lecturer and Laboratory Coordinator in Analytical Chemistry - Non Tenure Track Lecturer and Laboratory Coordinator in Analytical Chemistry - Non Tenure Track The University of North Carolina at Greensboro The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at UNC Greensboro invites applications for a new full-timeLecturer and Laboratory Coordinator in Analytical Chemistry Non Tenure Trackposition in analytical chemistry. We seek a candidate with interest and experience in experimental design and with the use and troubleshooting of analytical instrumentation, including chromatographic, electrochemical, and spectrophotometric techniques. Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to oversee, design, and teach general and analytical chemistry lecture and laboratory courses in person and online using student-centered, active learning, and inquiry-based approaches. The position also includes responsibilities of a laboratory course coordinator, such as planning and designing experiments, training and mentoring teaching assistants, and designing and facilitating clear criteria for grading, evaluating, and giving feedback on laboratory reports. The UNC Greensboro Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry is a pilot institute participating in the National Science Foundation ( NSF ) funded CURE (course-based undergraduate research experience) program. The successful candidate will have interest and ability to help develop meaningful research experiences for students as part of the analytical laboratory curriculum and to coordinate and scaffold CURE experiences across the laboratory curriculum.
