About the Sr. Manager, Sales Training & Development role: The Sr. Manager, Sales Training & Development will set a strategy for the training and development opportunities the sales department needs to remain a best-in-class commercial organization. * Overseeing the commercial onboarding program driving shorter time to impact for new hires * Driving development for tenured commercial associates, ensuring that our sales force is continually evolving and developing to meet market needs, and * Identifying and implementing tools and platforms to enhance seller productivity. * Drives a learning & development strategy for a department of 750 * Identifies and assess our team against key competencies for a variety of sales professionals (field, inside, distribution, global key accounts) * Assesses our organization's performance against those key competencies, identifies gaps, then sets and executes a plan to close the gaps * Identifies new & emerging tools that can help our sales force become more agile & productive over time. Works closely with colleagues and partners with vendors, and in Hach's own sales operations, marketing, and information technology teams to implement What makes this opportunity exciting? * Hach releases over 10 products per year, so you will always be learning and working on new items. Relevant experience in lieu of formal education is welcome. * 10+ years of progressive sales or commercial experience in a global environment * Demonstrates outstanding written and verbal communication skills * Ability to travel up to 25% * Prior experience building and running a high-performing team * Comfortable with ambiguity, leading through influence, and partnering with sales leaders of various types to agree on a strategy, gaps, and way forward * Ability to identify, assess, and implement solutions that can help drive seller development and productivity The salary range for this role is $115,000 - $160,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus pay. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees.
