Position Description: Position is backed up by the Logistics Manager. Interacts with customers and records interview information into computer. Obtains forecasts and orders from customer and schedules production line accordingly by performing the following duties. Responsibilities: Talks with customers by phone or in person and receives orders for installation, turn on, discontinuance, or change in service. Manage new line installations and other projects as directed by the Site Manager. Adjusts complaints concerning billing, service rendered, or product, referring complaints of service failures to quality and/or other designated departments for investigation. Potential visits to customers at their site to investigate conditions preventing completion of service connections and to assist in any arrangements to improve production and delivery of product. Determines the schedule for production of bottles and or preforms. Tells production managers which lines will run, specifically what product and in what order of priority. Determines outbound bottle shipments by instructing shipping/traffic department as to which orders must go out in which order. Formulates long term production plans for dedicated lines to plan and account for inventory building. Coordinates bottle shortages with other plants and/or corporate office. Approve or deny credits from customers as well as serves as liaison between customers/vendors and the accounting department. Responsible for reporting food safety issues to personnel with authority to initiate action Qualifications: Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Why should you apply?
