Healthcare SQL DeveloperOverview of PositionA' Change Healthcare is seeking an SQL Developer to work either at our Pensacola Florida office or remotely anywhere throughout the US. The position involves SQL development activities related to integrating healthcare systems. A' Designs, builds and maintains SQL code for interfacing between different messaging structures and related healthcare applications.A' What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?Develops and maintains SQL code for supporting data interfaces with trading partnersDesigns, implements, and supports data conversion to and from X12 EDI, XML, Flat Files, and proprietary file formats.Interfaces with Quality Assurance to ensure accurate delivery of project requirements and compliance with standards, code quality and accepted conventions.A' Works with the team to develop SQL code that meets the client's requirementsParticipates in the full software development life cycle from requirements analysis through test, release and maintenanceA' A' What are the requirements needed for this position?Bachelor's degree required or equivalent healthcare experienceFour or more years of development experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQLProficient with using SQL for reporting and identifying data issues.Experience modifying and running scripts used for loading and extracting data into a databaseExperience with performance tuning and indexing strategiesExperience working in a Linux environmentWhat other skills/experience would be helpful to have?Working experience in EDI, XML, Flat file transactions and communicationKnowledge of Healthcare transactions EDI 270/271, 276/277, 834, 835, 837, 999Experience with HealthCare Transaction processing, Clearinghouse Operations, X12 EDIExperience using Microsoft Team Foundation Server is a plusExperience with the TriZetto Facets or HealthEdge Health Rules system is a plusWhat are the working conditions and physical requirements of this job?
