Capgemini Government Solutions (CGGS) LLC is seeking a highly motivated Manual Tester with development and test framework experience to join our team in DC Metro or Kansas City area. The Manual Tester is a multifaceted role working in collaboration with other teams across the business to support our government clients.A successful candidate will be responsible for promoting high quality software products for end users and will have the opportunity to apply and grow their skillset in manual and automation testing, work with a motivated and entrepreneurial team, engage with a wide range of stakeholders, and build CGGS' capabilities to serve our clients. Job Responsibilities:As a Manual Tester, you will: Participate in discussions with client stakeholders using strong communications skills to determine requirements for testing needs within a product feature or across the platform.Execute End-to-End Test Plans.Support Test Solution Planning and Estimation. Analyze current architecture and test platforms to formulate a vision for growth and expansion.Create training materials, and train other Digital Assurance team members on test procedures on a given client application.Create and maintain written testing artifacts to support the team and stakeholders.Collaborate on a day-to-day basis with peers on the testing team, obtain guidance and provide status to workstream leadership.Investigate issues identified during testing and document the factors leading to error.RequiredQualifications:US Citizenship is required.Eligibility to obtain and maintain a security clearance.Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Management, or related field.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.6+ years of total work professional work experience post-Bachelor's degree.Minimum of 4 years' experience in Testing scope including planning, assessments, script development & maintenance preferably in cloud environment.Must becapable of workingunder general direction on complex projects, issues, and problems.Candidate must be a team player and work closely with other automation developers to build/support the Automation Framework.Nice to have Skills/Qualifications:Candidate has previous experience (and was cleared) at a US Federal agency.Candidate should have experience in testing Salesforce.Knowledge of Test-Driven Development and Behavioral Drive Design (BDD).Candidate should have basic understanding of automation testing and how it works.Candidate should have ability to learn new techniques and technologies quickly.Company OverviewA global leader in consulting, technology services and digital transformation, Capgemini is at the forefront of innovation to address the entire breadth of client's opportunities in the evolving world of cloud and digital platforms.
